McKnight Kurland uses games and interactive fun to add stickiness to educational siteOur experience in concepting and developing interactive websites led to the successful implementation of “Chicago for Kids”—a self-guided-tour site complete with customized Chicago games, virtual visits to famous attractions, and the ability to download the tour to an MP3 device for a tour-on-the-go. Delivered in five languages and narrated by a local ‘tween’, we even included audio from The Wiggleworms. To connect with the targeted youth audience, McKnight Kurland developed a “spokes-character” to lead visitors through the tour—she skates and bikes and kayaks across the screen. The interactive map makes touring easy and intuitive, educating through visually compelling graphics. View the Chicago For Kids website |
